7 lbs, 12 oz
20 inches
 Our little angel!
The exhausted looking mom and her new bundle of joy!
Proud papa of baby girl #2!
Aaahhhh...the first bath.  Nothing feels better than to have someone wash your hair for you!
 What a cutie!
Big Sister Libby's first time to meet baby Lexi.
She was very excited to get to hold the baby...but only lasted about 5 seconds and then she was done.
We are officially a family of four.  Wow!
What an incredible blessing this little miracle is in our lives.  Just as her middle name means, she's "my little heaven"!  We love you, Lexi!

Random Fun

Just a few random shots of what we've been up to lately:
Hitting up Disneyland with friends...Laura, Natalie, me and four and half kids.
Libby has turned into quite the little diva with her sunglasses. She loves them and gets tons of comments on them wherever we go.
Taking Daddy on a ride on the horseys for the second time that day!
Coloring is a new favorite pasttime.  But, really, if you ask her, all she wants to do is "Trace your hand" any time she gets out the coloring book.
A chilly beach-day with Daddy.
"Ugh...you're squishing me!"
Another bike ride ends in success - we had so much fun, she passed out!
Libby loves her rocking chair, blankets, and the rare moments she actually gets to watch TV!
And, one last Disneyland trip before the baby's big debut.  We were three moms - one 9 days past her due date (me), 4 and half kids - one of which was just 2 weeks old and we made quite the group!

Family Maternity Pictures

We finally decided to take some family maternity pictures before the baby's big debut.  And wouldn't you know it, we waited till I was exactly a week overdue to do it!  These are a few of my favorites.
I think this one might be my overall top choice.  That Libby is just sooooo cute!

This one is kinda goofy, but I like it anyway.
Libby loves to give the baby kisses.  Let's just hope this continues once she actually arrives! ;)

My Farewell Luncheon at Work

It appears that people really like to celebrate babies because my last day of work, my friends all threw me another mini-shower.  Again, it was just supposed to be a farewell luncheon with some food and mingling, but turned into a spoil fest, complete with decorations, cake, and presents.  My goodness, am I feeling guilty, or what?!?
My friend Yolli threw the party in her room and had her 4th period class help her decorate and set up.  They did a great job and everything looked fantastic!
I love the "Again" at the end! :)
My friends were so nice that they invited Libby and my mom to join us.  Here we are at the food table - they ordered my favorite: Pizza Store pizza and salad.  Yummy!  Plus, people brought brownies, cookies, and even a "Congratulations, Becky!" cake!
This was right as the bell was ringing when lunch was over, so we didn't catch everyone, but here's a decent showing of the attendees.  Thanks to everyone for making me feel so loved and special.  See you all in the Fall!

Our Joint "Sprinkle"

My good friend Sarah and I had due dates just 10 days apart, and both of us were having the same gender for baby #2 as our first, so our friends decided to throw us a joint "Sprinkle".  Well, it was supposed to be a small little get together and not a big deal, but apparently they don't know how to do anything small!  It turned into a full-blown shower and was a great night.  Thanks to everyone who contributed and came to help us celebrate!
The guests of honor with our matching baby bumps.
It was mostly friends from our ward, but we also invited moms and cousins to share in the fun.
 Maren, me, Laura, and Shalon
Some of the great not-so-small "sprinkle" throwers
What would a party be without my mom?!?
The decorations, food, and favors were all over the top!  It looked so cute and was so fun to have both blue and pink represented.
Since it wasn't supposed to be a real shower, we waited till after the party to open presents.  Brad and Libby got to do the unwrapping.  Yeah, looks like a first shower from all that loot, huh?  I told you my friends were out of control!  Thanks, again!

Egg Hunting Continues

Libby participated in a total of 3 separate egg hunts on Easter Sunday - those Openshaws sure know how to do it! She loved every second of it, too!

This was the Grammy and Pops money-egg hunt. And wouldn't you know it, the youngest participant was the grand prize winner! Libby scored the $20 egg! Woo hoo!

She really got into the whole experience!

This was the third and final hunt of the day and Libby's cousin Sydney was her big helper. They are so cute together!

The gum-filled carrot was her favorite find on this one.
(Sorry the pictures aren't great.  This was when we temporarily lost my camera and took them all with the iPad.  What can you do?!)

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday with the entire Foster Family all together - it was a picture opportunity just waiting to happen!
The whole gang!  Notice all of the granddaughters' matching dresses my mom made for the occasion.  She's too cute!
The outdoor version - we're actually grouped by family in this one.
The luckiest, most spoiled grandchildren in the world!
The cute girls in their dresses.
The ever-growing Macbeths.
Easter morning brought the first of many egg hunts.  Here is Libby checking out her loot for the first time.
Sharing the spoils with Daddy and Ellie.  Well, maybe not sharing...how about "showing"?
I found some!
Amy introduced us to a new tradition - an egg rolling contest.  We played in rounds and whoever's egg didn't crack moved on to the next level.  Ellie was the winner, but fun was had by all!
