We went to the beach twice while the gang was all here. We owe many great memories to our gorgeous CA beaches!
We got to spend one of the days at a private beach called Three Arch Bay. We set up our new game of Lasso Golf (thanks to Jayann and Tall Paul) and it was a hit. We had a blast!
We stayed for a bonfire that night and gorged on all the super healthy foods you can think of that go along with it! :)
Libby 's first bonfire! I make a mean dog, if I do say so myself! Nice and black - mmmm, mmmm!
On Memorial Day we all went to the cemetery to visit my grandparents' graves. Here are all the great-grandkids paying their respects to Grandma and Grandpa.
Then it's just a short walk up the hill to Grandma Ellie's grave. This picture represents all of her direct posterity (no husbands). Pretty neat!
After the cemetery we headed down to Strands (my first choice!) and enjoyed a wonderful, but very crowded day. Libby sure loves the sand...but water that cold - not so much! She must get her fair-weather water-going from me. ;)
What a day!
Max and Libby sure love playing together. Buckets, sand, water, and someone to throw it at - they had it all!
We took a nice long walk on the beach and by the end Libby was all pooped out! Fell asleep in her daddy's arms and you can bet he was in absolute heaven!
