After 2 long years, I finished my Masters' last week. Our last class was on Wed night and after submitting and presenting my 62 page action research paper, I was done. It was supremely anti-climactic for me, and apparently I complained enough that my mom decided to throw me a surprise party to make up for it! My dad and Brad kinda ruined the surprise, but it was still one of the greatest parties ever!

They made sure to get a cap for me to really feel official.

Here's what awaited me when I walked in the door - lots of friends to share the excitement with!

These are the people that really made it happen! I never could have done it without them! Thank you for rearranging your schedules, feeding my family, and giving me all the support a girl could ever ask for. I am so blessed!

My mom was crazy enough to make dinner for over 30 people! And not just any dinner - my favorite dinner: Fiesta Chicken Kiev! That's no small feat, let me tell you! It's a ton of work, but, oh, so delicious!!! Heidi, Britt and I enjoying the spoils.

The outdoor dining crew (in other words, those with kids!).

The Robinsons made me a darling candy card and fresh homemade bread - yum, yum!

The Jessops

The Burches

The Vargas

The Crocketts
It was a better party than the balloon I was calling her to ask her to get you. :0)
