One Cute Little Eater

 Is she cute, or what?!
She just looked so darling sitting there, I couldn't resist posting them all!
Bon Apetit!

Super Bowl Party

Our friends, the Parkins throw an annual Super Bowl party which also doubles as a birthday party for Scott.  We always look forward to it every year, and this year didn't disappoint!
Here we are at our staked out viewing spot.  The kids ran around like crazy and had a great time.  Lexi was feeling a bit under the weather, so this was how she spent most of the party.
Creepy, right?!  Libby found this mask in their toy bin and loved it.  Pretty creepy, if you ask me!
Thanks, Parkins, for hosting another great party!

Bike Ride with Uncle Paul

Uncle Paul came down to visit for a long weekend and brought his bike, so we decided to go for a ride on Saturday.  We biked from Irvine to Balboa Island and had a great time.  It started off pretty warm and sunny, but got progressively cooler.  Here we are at the estuary before we hit the beach.
The girls decided to cozy-up and share the trailer rather than have Libby sit in the bike seat on my bike.  I don't know how much Lexi appreciated that decision, though.
Here's what Lexi thinks of alone time in the trailer...much better!
After a yummy lunch on the island, we found our own little private spot of beach and had a great time.  Lexi loves her Uncle Paul!

 This girl loves the sand!
 What a fun bunch!
Daddy and Libby found some sea anemones to touch.
We'll have to remember this spot and come back on a clear, sunny day.  Despite the chilly weather, it was a great ride and, most importantly, the girls loved it.

Bowling with my Students

This year I am teaching the CAHSEE math class for the first time ever and have a very small group of students in the class.  I told them if they did well on their big test, we'd go on a field trip.  Well, they did great so they chose bowling.  Not all of them made the trip, but those that did sure had fun!  We chose to go on a Friday, so we got to add some extra people to our party.
The group shot - a few of my students, my student-teacher, and my girls.  What a group!
 The goofy group shot
My team.  We were all terrible, but we had a blast!
The "add-ons" to the event.  Uncle Paul was in town visiting, it was Friday Fun-Day for my mom and the girls, and my new student-teacher got to join in on the fun, too.
The girls had a blast with Uncle Paul!
This is how Lexi spent game 2 of the day.
They had this cool ramp for Libby to use when it was her turn.  One of my students got jealous and wanted to try it out, so Libby showed him the ropes on how it was to be done! ;)
A little time at the arcade, out to lunch at a neighboring hole-in-the-wall Mexican place, and then it was back to school for business as usual.  What a blast!  And to think, I was "at work" the whole time!

Ty's 8 Year Old Trip

Like all the grandkids before him, Ty got to fly down to CA for a long weekend with Grammy and Pops at Disneyland and California Adventure.  Lucky for us, we live close by and got to join in the fun (and renew our Disneyland passes in the process!).  Jen got to join him, so it was a super fun weekend!
And here it is...the highlight of the day - a picture with Minnie!  What could be better?!?  Libby was so excited to get to wear her Minnie Mouse costume, and then to get to have her picture taken with her, too?!  Wow!  What a day!
Heimlich's Chew-Chew Train with Grammy
And she's big enough for the bumper cars, now, too.
Our very own little Minnie matched the spinning ladybugs perfectly!
The carousel is always a favorite.
Ty and Libby with Buzz.  As you can tell, Libby was significantly less impressed with Buzz than she was with Minnie.  Is she a girly-girl, or what?!
Our story may still be in the writing process, but like all Disney stories, it ends the same...
Lexi was there, too!  And she loved the Aladdin show (which her sister completely missed by sleeping through the whole thing!).
Libby and the star of the weekend, Ty enjoying Mater's Junkyard.
The "core" part of the trip...we Macbeths were just an add-on.  Thanks for letting us tag along! :)
One last ride on Flik's Flyers and then we're outta here!  Two full days at Disneyland is hard work - who'd of thought?  But sooooo worth it - we loved every second!
Can't wait for more fun to come!

Our Little Frenchie

One of my mom's good friends got Lexi this little outfit and it's become quite the hit!  She looks so adorable in it - I just love it!  And the little ugg boots just top it all off perfectly.
Je' taime, Lexi!
All smiles with her daddy after church.
And, while we're at it, here's another post-church Sunday afternoon snooze.  How sweet!  If only I got to snooze, too, then it would be perfect!

New Computer!

For those of you that might be wondering...Yes, I'm still alive! I know it's been awhile since I've posted anything, but not for lack of trying.  We had a very old computer that finally gave up the ghost and I'm ready to get back to posting.  Sorry for the month-long delay, but we'll get up and rolling here soon.  Then I'll have so much to post, you'll be sick of me!
Posting soon,
Becky
