Libby's First Dental Appt

Right before it was time to go back to school, it was time for Libby's first visit to Dr. Johnson's office.
I'm guessing most kids don't have this big of a smile the whole time at their first dental visit.  Turns out having Grammy work in the office sure makes it easier to feel comfortable!  She did GREAT and loves showing off her pearly whites.

Last Moments of Summer

Here are a few random pictures from this summer that I had on my phone.  Yep, I'm sad to say it's over - I LOVE summer!
A day at Three-Arch Bay.  I love it there!
Just living the good life on a private beach.
 Lexi with her ponytails.
When Lexi wakes up from her nap, Libby likes to climb in with her and hang out for awhile.  I love that they are best buds!
And, we threw a baby shower for my friend Laura back in June and I never posted pics.  It was super fun and baby Bailey has arrived and is super cute!

Stateline, NV

We hit that notorious Sunday night Vegas traffic, and decided to hit up a hotel at stateline for the night, rather than fight the traffic all the way home.  The three working types had to wake up and drive home at 3 am, but the rest of us stayed and played in the pool before heading back home.  Why not extend our trip another day?!
Primm, NV - who'd have thought?!  The kids were pretty disappointed that the pool with the waterslide was only open on the weekends and we had to settle for the "lesser" pool.
Well, at least someone looks pretty happy about the way things turned out!
This was the "island" they told us we could swim out to, as if it was a big deal.  Hmmmm....
Good thing it doesn't take much to entertain this group.
Lexi sure loves to swim!

Last Few Random Moments at Powell

Just a hodge podge of fun pics, then I'll be done with Powell, I promise!
Can you tell how much we love it!?
Libby and Max bringing firewood along the "grandma trail".
Just hanging out on the beach.
 Smores night!
Followed by an awesome glo-stick party.  Libby and Max thought they were pretty cool!
The kids all prepping for their big glo-stick moment...
 and they delivered!
We adults had fun, too.  I'm holding Libby's cool flower she just loved!

And, of course, Wakeboarding!

Of all the fun Lake Powell activities, I think it's safe to say that wakeboarding is still our favorite.  I could just watch Brad all day long - he's pretty entertaining!
Nice grab, Brad!  Yeah, I'd say that's some pretty good air!
 And, my favorite, the backroll.
He's almost there...will he land it?!
Yes!!!  Wow!  He was amazing and seriously so fun to watch!
Then, there's me.  Not nearly as fun to watch, but I sure do have a great time.  I put this one on because this is my favorite part - just the smooth ride of pure heaven.  And, apparently everyone else finds it entertaining that I talk to myself the whole time I'm out there.  What? - that isn't normal?!
 My attempts at big air.
Not nearly as cool as Brad, but still sooooo fun!

The More, the Merrier

The Stewarts and my dad ended up joining up with us for the last few days of the trip.  Turns out it's true what they say:  the more, the merrier! These are a few shots from our last day.
It was our only non-perfect weather day of the whole trip.  And even still, not too bad at all!
Libby loves her cousins and aunt!
We took them by the swimming hole and got this awesome shot of Brad.
 I love my family!
 Libby making sand-angels.
 That smile just melts me!
I love this little fish-named-Libby.

More Powell Fun

Just a few more of the great moments...
Enjoying one of our many AMAZING meals aboard Turquoise Bay and Luna Vista.
Some post-meal relaxing was always a necessity after how full we got!
Lexi and I enjoying fireworks night.  Giant sparklers and a GREAT show put on by Greg and Wendy (with some pyro help from kid-in-a-candy-shop Brad).
Too bad pictures never do it justice!
Not one, but TWO remotes!  Nice find, Lexi!
Brad went on a hike by himself and took this cool picture of our houseboat from up above the slot canyon. (This was the last day when the other houseboat had already left.)
