Exactly 2 weeks overdue and cooked to perfection, Libby Macbeth has arrived! Elizabeth Kaye Macbeth was born on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 3:41pm. She weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs, 4 oz and was 20 inches long. She is the most beautiful baby in the whole world! Welcome to our family, Libby!

Daddy got the honors of changing her first diaper - plenty more of that to come, I'm sure! ;)
The hospital sent around a photographer to take some "day-old" pictures and she let us take them with our camera, too. I was so glad that we brought the beautiful blanket and beanie that my Aunt Mary made for her - it made the pictures even that much cuter!
Ahhhhh....

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! We're so happy for you. And I agree, she really does look like Brad! Nothing like wrapping daddy around her little finger (not that she needed to look like him to have that happen!) :) All 7 of our children were born 2 to 2 1/2 weeks overdue. I understand how hard that is. You begin to think it will never happen...but she's here!! Hurray!
