My first Mother's Day was a huge success! Libby gave me the best present EVER and actually slept in until 7:45! Woo-hoo! Then Brad made me a delicious breakfast with pancakes and bacon and everything. We had a relaxing morning, church was great (I didn't have to teach my class, I actually got to go to Relief Society for once, and I had Libby with me instead of with Brad!), and then we had my parents and Britt over for dinner.
Here's my beautiful mom! I am so grateful for her and all the love, support, and devotion she has shown me my entire life. As I start my own journey of motherhood, I am so grateful to have the best example in the entire world to follow. I love you, Mom!
My parents got me (or, rather, Libby) another fun balloon for Mother's Day and she was in heaven playing with it.
I'm so proud to be this little angel's mommy!
Here's some evidence of the beginnings of crawling. She's not quite there yet, but man is she close! Watch out world, here she comes!

ReplyDeleteI am glad you had such a successful first Mother's Day. What a beautiful mother you are!!! I'm glad we are sisters and I don't have to fight you to prove that I have the better mom. We both win that fight. Aren't we the luckiest girls ever!!!
