More Great Libby Moments

If you couldn't tell already, turns out we're totally infatuated with our little angel! So, here are a few more precious moments with our little one!
Her first mini-skirt - good thing she's small enough it doesn't even look "mini" yet! ;)
Daddy giving her a bath.
A beautiful Sunday afternoon walk up to the Ritz Carlton. Just another day in paradise!
This one is just for my dad - he would claim that the reason she's screaming is the "brain-squeezer" I have on her head. Whatever the reason, I think it's adorable! And notice the socks - little Puma shoes for my soccer star in training. ;)
Another cute little outfit as Libby sports her "feed me" face - pretty much a permanent fixture around here. That girl can eat!
At 2 weeks and a day, Libby had her first dip in the pool. Ok, I'm using the term "dip" very loosely here - we only managed to get her feet wet, but it was a start. I love her little bathingsuit!
What a mean mom I am!
I know it's hard to see in the picture, but let's just say she wasn't exactly all smiles. Better luck next time, I hope!

Libby's First Wedding

At only 10 days old, Libby was officially the youngest guest at my long-time friend Amanda Prine's wedding...not to mention the hit of the party! The wedding was at the Hilton Waterfront Hotel in Huntington Beach and was absolutely fantastic. Libby is chalking up the cool experiences of life early on - keep it up, kiddo! ;)
Libby with the bride, Amanda.
After the ceremony we took a family picture. Syd and Summer were the program passer-outers for the wedding and my mom made their dresses.
All dolled up for the wedding!
This is right where Libby spent most of the night - in her cousin Summer's arms. You've never seen two sisters fight over a baby more in your life!!!
Then add an aunt to the mix, and the parents didn't stand a chance of holding her!
A rare moment when Brad had to steal his Libby away. ;)
The cousins. Notice the flowers - Syd was the lucky girl to catch the bouquet. Hope no one else in the group wanted to get married in the next 15 years or so!
So happy to be a family!

Libby's First Week

Libby is living every girl's dream: a new outfit every day and plenty of time for beauty-rest! And when it comes to accessories, who needs handbags when you've got a new blanket for every outfit?!?
That is one sweet little baby!
Mommy's MVP, for sure! (Most Valuable Princess, that is!)

Even the PJs are all new and adorable!
Libby's first trip to Grammy's house. Soon to be a favorite destination spot, I'm sure - where the spoiling never stops! ;)
Grammy loving her Libby-fix for the day.
Daddy's first time feeding his little love-bug. I don't know who was happier...doting daddy or guzzling girl.
More cute PJs and soft, fuzzy blankets.
What a cute little dress!
Libby's first package delivery was a major hit! Yep, all of that came in one box...crazy! Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa Macbeth - she's loving all her goodies!
Duckie PJs, too.
Her rockstar blanket and one of my favorite sundresses.
We went on a nice walk to Badlands Park and Libby loved the off-roading in her stroller! It was a gorgeous day again and the view was fantastic!
Libby's (and Mommy's) new favorite toy - a bouncy seat. Sporting some of the cute clothes from Grandma and Grandpa.

Home from the Hospital

After spending two great nights in the hospital (yeah, apparently we're the love-the-hospital-stay variety of parents), we headed out on our own on Friday. I had fun getting Libby dressed in her special home-from-the-hospital outfit my mom and I picked out. It says "I love daddy" on it, and already it's soooo true!
Libby and Mommy ready for the big, bad world!
Her first time in her adorable carseat. (I had justed pulled the binkie out of her mouth, thus the crazy face!)

Daddy loading her into the new car.

When we got home, my mom and sister, Amy had decorated for our arrival. It was so cute!

The baby carriage sign and stork balloon on the gate completed the decorations.

Libby's first time in her new room.

Let's hope she likes it more than this picture makes you think! ;)

Her first nap in the cradle that my dad made for all of the grandkids to sleep in. She is number 9 in the Foster clan to get to use it. I love it and think it's so special that her Pops made it!

Turns out it was a gorgeous day, and if you know me at all, you know I can't pass up a great beach day. So, no more than 48 hours old and Libby was at the beach. We've gotta convert her early on if she's gonna be a part of this family!

She enjoyed the beach from the comfort of her own personal shade tent.

This was how she spent the entire trip...asleep. But she learned to love the beach by osmosis, right?!

Brad thought it would be a good idea to get a picture of her view from the shade-tent so she knows what her first trip to the beach looked like. He's hilarious! ;)

A perfect day and a perfect little girl! We love our Libby!

Libby Has Arrived!!!

Exactly 2 weeks overdue and cooked to perfection, Libby Macbeth has arrived! Elizabeth Kaye Macbeth was born on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 3:41pm. She weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs, 4 oz and was 20 inches long. She is the most beautiful baby in the whole world! Welcome to our family, Libby!
The night before her scheduled arrival. That's one BIG belly!
Our little Libby!

The first official family picture, just minutes after delivery! Those sure are some proud looking parents, huh?
Her first bath in the hospital was a roaring success!
All bundled up and looking just like her daddy.
A clean baby deserves a family picture, too!
Daddy got the honors of changing her first diaper - plenty more of that to come, I'm sure! ;)
The hospital sent around a photographer to take some "day-old" pictures and she let us take them with our camera, too. I was so glad that we brought the beautiful blanket and beanie that my Aunt Mary made for her - it made the pictures even that much cuter!
Ahhhhh....
If that isn't the cutest picture ever, I don't know what is!
