For the opening day of the fair, they have free admission and parking if you arrive between noon and 1:00 pm, so we figured, what the heck?! Apparently, so did the rest of the world. We arrived right at noon and waited in line for over 45 minutes just to get in, but ended up saving $80, so it was worth it. What a great FREE day at the fair!
We started off at the little circus they have - it was adorable!
Then, while the big kids rode rides, my girls and I went to watch the Alaskan pig races and had a front row seat right in the dirt by the track. Lots of fun!
While Lexi napped, Libby was in animal petting heaven.
Shorn sheep and all!
The turkey was her favorite. The tom in cage behind her was quite the show-off - he'd puff out all his feathers and gobble, gobble, gobble for us!
The spitting fountain was a favorite for both Libby and Ty. Good thing I always have a back-up outfit in the diaper bag!
Once Lexi woke up she was thrilled to join the animal fun. This one was just for Pops Pig!
We had to take her (and the rest of the gang) by the turkey again.
And the cows.
I love this picture! Summer and Lexi are now BFFs and it is so cute to see them together!
We LOVE having the Stewarts here now - family fun all the time!
