My girls and I were late arrivals to the reunion, but had a great time for the day and a half we were there. Those Idaho cousins sure know how to show you a good time - food, fun, and family - what could be better?
We hit up the hotel pool in the morning.
Libby loved swimming with her cousins - as long as they joined her in the kiddie pool, though - she was NOT having the big pool!
Then it was off to the river for plenty of fun in the sun. They had just about every event you could ask for: volleyball, wakeboarding, boating, paddleboarding, dunk tank, etc.
(The rest of the pictures are in no particular order.)
We even got cotton candy!
The changing weather of Idaho - threatening storm clouds one minute (which resulted in plenty of rain right when it was my turn to wakeboard - awesome!), then a gorgeous sunset the next.
The last event of the day was the Slingshot. My uncle, Barney owns this amazing ride that is usually $20 per person for a single ride, but for the reunion we got to do it for free. I went with Amy once, and then again right after that with my dad. It was awesome!
A few of the family members participated in a cute little program.
Aunt Lois (the only attending member of my grandparents' generation) with most of the first cousins that were in attendance.
After all that crazy traveling we've been doing, this is how Lexi spent a good portion of the day.
Libby sure had lots of fun in the sun.
She got to go horseback riding. Despite being a bit nervous at the beginning, she warmed up to the idea and had a pretty good time. Though, if you ask her, she only liked it "a little bit". What a stinker!
Kelly shared her horse, Fancy with us and I thought Libby looked pretty "fancy" herself in her pink tutu!
